Spring North launches campaign highlighting unseen mental health struggles

Spring North has launched a new campaign for Mental Health Awareness Week to shine a light on the hidden emotional pressures many people experience in everyday life.

The campaign, titled The Moments People Don’t See, focuses on the quiet, often unnoticed moments when people may be struggling behind the scenes while continuing with daily routines such as school runs, work, caring responsibilities and household tasks.

Using reflective visual storytelling and community-focused messaging, the campaign encourages greater understanding of the emotional weight people may carry while appearing to cope on the surface.

Throughout Mental Health Awareness Week, Spring North will also share information about the support available through its projects, services and community programmes, helping to connect people with wellbeing support across the region.

The organisation says the campaign was created to reflect the reality that mental health challenges are not always visible and that many individuals continue to juggle responsibilities, care for others and maintain routines while experiencing anxiety, loneliness, exhaustion or emotional pressure.

Chelsea Crossey, Marketing and Communications Manager at Spring North, said:

“So many people carry things quietly while trying to keep everyday life moving. This campaign is about recognising those unseen moments and reminding people that support is available, conversations matter and no one should feel they have to struggle alone.”

Unlike campaigns that focus on crisis imagery, The Moments People Don’t See uses relatable and familiar situations to encourage more open and approachable conversations around mental health and wellbeing.

Content from the campaign will be shared across Spring North’s social media channels throughout Mental Health Awareness Week, alongside information about local support and wellbeing services available across the region.
