Abigail Lee and Alex Lever from Healthwatch Blackpool will share their powerful insight gained after collecting feedback from 4,170 local children and young people, focusing on the topic of e-cigarettes and vaping in Blackpool. They have since co-produced and co-designed targeted ommunication materials to discourage the uptake of vaping, in partnership with children, young people and Public Health Blackpool. Learn more about the co-creation of these materials and see the finished results.
Blackpool Council will share its experiences of coproduction and lived experience focusing on the engagement of children and young people to support the Blackpool SEND Inspection.
The webinar will include a question-and-answer session and is open to anyone with an interest in public and patient engagement, involvement and co-production in Lancashire and South Cumbria. In particular this webinar will be of interest to those involved in children and young people’s services, SEND, population health and public health, the VCFSE and partnership working.
