Our Work...
At Spring North, we collaborate with trusted partners and community organisations to design and deliver programmes that address real community needs. Our strength resides in collaboration, merging specialist knowledge, lived experience, and local insight to create meaningful impact.
From long-term health initiatives to targeted local projects, this section highlights the scope and significance of our efforts throughout the North-West.
Here’s a glimpse into our diverse portfolio of successful projects.

Safe Hubs
This project supports the emotional health and well-being of children and young people by providing safe, welcoming hubs where they can access targeted interventions, resources, and support. By building resilience, strengthening self-esteem, and promoting positive coping strategies, the project creates a nurturing environment that helps young people manage life’s challenges and improve their overall well-being

SMI Physical Health Checks – South Cumbria
The SMI Outreach Service in South Cumbria helps people living with Severe Mental Illness (SMI) to access essential physical health checks and boost their overall wellbeing.

Cancer Alliance Grants
The Cancer Awareness, Screening, and Early Diagnosis Initiative was a targeted, time-limited programme delivered across Lancashire and South Cumbria, with particular focus on East Lancashire and Blackpool. Funded through the VCFSE-led Small Grants Scheme for Cancer Education and Engagement, the initiative supported small community projects aimed at increasing awareness, encouraging screening, and promoting early diagnosis of lung, bowel, and pancreatic cancers. These cancers are often diagnosed too late for effective treatment, and this initiative aimed to change that by equipping communities with knowledge and confidence to take early action.

Urgent and Emergency Care Winter Programme
Spring North project managed a winter health programme across Lancashire and South Cumbria, collaborating with the NHS Integrated Care Board (ICB) and local voluntary, community, faith, and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations. The programme aimed to help vulnerable people remain safe, healthy, and independent at home during the colder months, reducing unnecessary hospital visits and alleviating pressure on emergency care services.
