On Monday 21st September, we’ll be at the Adrenaline Centre in Haslingden from 9.30am to 11.30am for a free networking and information event.
One of the key reasons for our visit is to start conversations with local organisations ahead of a new pot of funding launching next month, which will support work to raise awareness of important cancer messages within Rossendale communities.
Spring North works in partnership with the Lancashire and South Cumbria Cancer Alliance, bringing together VCFSE organisations and using their trusted relationships within communities to help raise awareness, encourage conversations around cancer and support people to recognise the importance of early diagnosis.
We know that local organisations understand their communities best. That’s why we want to meet groups already working across Rossendale, hear about the people they support and make sure they know about the funding and opportunities that are coming.
The morning will also be an opportunity to find out more about free Spring North membership and the wider support available to VCFSE organisations across Lancashire and South Cumbria.
Whether you’re a charity, CIC, community group, faith organisation or social enterprise, we’d love you to join us.
