Spring North invites training providers to support VCFSE sector across Lancashire and South Cumbria

Spring North is inviting experienced training providers to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to deliver workshops as part of its expanding VCFSE Membership Training Programme.

The programme will deliver a series of practical training sessions for voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations across Lancashire and South Cumbria, helping to strengthen skills, governance, and service delivery within the sector.

Spring North supports a growing network of over 250 community organisations working with children, young people, families, and communities. The training programme is part of its broader efforts to strengthen the capacity and sustainability of the VCFSE sector.

Workshops will cover a variety of topics relevant to community organisations, including safeguarding, mental health, fundraising, governance, equality and inclusion, communications, and financial management.

Each workshop will be delivered as an interactive session and will take place across four areas of Lancashire and South Cumbria during a 12-month delivery period.

Martin Hartley-Smith, CEO of Spring North, said:

Voluntary and community organisations provide vital services across Lancashire and South Cumbria, often with limited resources. Through this training programme, we aim to ensure organisations access practical, high-quality training that helps strengthen their services and continue supporting their communities.

We’re really keen to collaborate with experienced training providers who understand the VCFSE sector and can deliver engaging, practical sessions that organisations can take straight back into their work. Spring North is encouraging trainers and organisations with experience of working with charities and community groups to apply.

The deadline for Expressions of Interest is 17 April.
