Commissioned by Lancashire County Council, the service will be delivered by Spring North in partnership with eight experienced voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations Fylde Coast YMCA, Serenity Self Care & Wellbeing, PM Forum, Positive Action in the Community, Key Charity, The Birchall Trust, New Start and New Era North West. Together, the partnership will provide high-quality, evidence-informed therapeutic support to children and young people with low-to-moderate emotional health and wellbeing needs, helping them access support before challenges escalate.

The Children’s Emotional Health & Wellbeing Partnership+ supports children and young people aged 4–19 years, and up to 25 years for those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The service is available to children and young people who either live in Lancashire or attend a Lancashire school. Referrals are made through the Children & Family Wellbeing Service (CFW). The partnership is built on the belief that early intervention changes lives. By providing timely support, children and young people can build resilience, improve their emotional wellbeing, and develop the confidence and skills needed to navigate life’s challenges.

As the lead organisation, Spring North will coordinate the partnership, bringing together the expertise, local knowledge and trusted relationships of eight specialist VCFSE organisations. This collaborative approach ensures children, young people and families receive the right support at the right time, while strengthening the role of the voluntary sector in delivering high-quality services across Lancashire.
