OUR WORK

At Spring North, we lead and oversee a range of projects that support better health, mental wellbeing, community health, and volunteering. Each initiative is driven by local needs and delivered through partnerships, bringing together people, organisations, and ideas to create lasting change.

From early intervention with young people to addressing health inequalities and supporting community-led solutions, our work is practical, collaborative, and focused on what matters most.

Mental Health & Wellbeing
We create opportunities for people to look after their mental health in ways that feel right for them. By building trusted, community-based support, we help people feel hear, understood and less alone.
Children and Young People
We create safe spaces where young people feel valued, supported, and able to grow. Through positive relationships and practical opportunities, we help them build confidence and shape their own futures.
Community Health
We work alongside communities to improve health and wellbeing, particularly where people face barriers to support. From cancer awareness to everyday health advice, we create local solutions that help people take control of their health.
Volunteering
We create volunteering opportunities that strengthen communities and build the capacity of the local sector. Our volunteers play a vital role in raising awareness of key health messages, supporting local organisations, and helping people stay connected to the support they need.

OUR PROJECTS

Spring North delivers targeted projects that support the third sector and grassroots community groups to respond to local needs. Our work focuses on five key areas: Mental Health, Neurodiversity, Children and Young People, Community Health Inequalities, and Volunteering.

We work alongside VCFSE partners, health services, and local authorities to co-design and deliver practical, joined-up support, ensuring that communities are not only heard but actively supported through accessible, responsive services that make a real difference.

Our team and partners bring specialist knowledge and lived experience across our key areas. With backgrounds in Public Health, Mental Health Services, Education, Youth Work, and Community Development, our staff and partners have a deep understanding of the multiple challenges communities face and the tools to address them. This expertise allows us to design effective, evidence-based programmes that are grounded in real-world impact.

We work closely with our NHS partners, commissioners, and local authorities to bridge the gap between statutory services and community delivery. These relationships ensure our projects align with local priorities and pathways, while also amplifying the voice and role of the voluntary and community sector. As a trusted lead organisation, we are able to bring together a wide range of high quality, trusted delivery partners to provide joined-up, place-based support that meets the needs of diverse communities.
