Empowerment Charity – CMHT

Project completed in partnership with:
The Spring North CMHT project works with a range of VCFSE organisations to provide mental health support for adults in their local communities. This project is part of the Lancashire & South Cumbria ICB’s long term plan to transform Community Mental Health services across the region.

Through the CMHT Grant Fund, we are proud to support Empowerment, a charity with multiple health projects across Blackpool and the Fylde Coast, supported by an employed team of individuals with lived experience of multiple disadvantage (mental illness, homelessness, offending, substance misuse and domestic abuse) to provide 1:1 support for people currently experiencing multiple disadvantage to help them access and engage mainstream service provision.

Empowerment’s CMHT Campaign aims to to enhance the well-being and mental health of local people through collaboration between several dedicated charities, all working together to improve mental health services, integration and support in the community.

Together with the Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board, we are committed to ensuring that Empowerment Charity continues to make a profound impact on the lives of the most vulnerable members of the community.
