Angela Allen

Chief Executive Officer
Angela has been with the organisation since its inception in 2010 – she along with other colleagues in the VCF sector were responsible for establishing the organisation in response to the decreasing funding opportunities and the subsequent increase in competition for these – recognising the need for better collaboration and partnership working.

Beyond her time in the VCFSE sector Angela has also worked in further education, local authorities and in the private sector.

She has been greatly supported by a fantastic team of staff and a committed board of directors.

Alysia Moorhouse

Chief Executive Officer
Since Alysia started at the Consortium in 2015, her role has seen many changes, and grown in line with the varying needs and demands of the organisation. She currently manages the projects team and ensures contracting performance, delivery, quality assurance, communications and financial operations across the organisation to fulfil all of its contract commitments.

Outside of the direct contracts, Alysia is a key member of the team forming partnership links, supporting consortia members with their contract readiness, and upskilling of their teams. Within the team, she is always on hand with practical advice around various core business functions.

Martin Hartley-Smith

Head of Business Development and Member Engagement
Martin joined us from his previous role as Business Development Director with Bolton Lads and Girls Club, were he was instrumental on leading, developing and securing funding of £620,000 to deliver a new mental health project across Bolton in partnership with the CCG, VCFS organisations and The Lottery.

Martin spent 12 years as Deputy CEO with Child Action Northwest, having developed a wide array of services, covering emotional health & wellbeing, youth justice, leaving care, targeted employability programmes, alternative education provisions to name a few.
